Which cat furniture should I choose?

Most cats like to scratch - some more than others. To prevent your cat from tearing apart your new sofa or other furniture in your home, investing in an scratch furniture can be a good idea. These pieces of furniture are available in different variants such as claw players, claw-thin or claw boards and are perfect entertainment for your cat. These will help sharpen the cat's claws in a natural way to clean furniture and clothing from unnecessary scratches.

For a cat, an scratch furniture is many different things such as a lookout place where they can get a good overview of its surroundings. The cat has a natural behavior of wanting to take control of its surroundings and a high scratch tree therefore makes the cat feel safe. The scratch tree may like to have small houses that the cat can crawl into and have as a hiding place. Cats appreciate a place where they can rest - for example, if you have guests. Then it is important to have one or more pillars so that the cat can itch properly. Hopefully the cat likes to cling to the tree instead of the decor. And finally, it is important to think about the location of the scratch tree. In order for the cat to use the tree, it is necessary to be placed where the cat usually is - if you live large it may be necessary to have two or more scratch furniture to spare the interior. The tree can advantageously be placed against a wall or in a corner so that the cat has a good view.

Prior to purchase:

♥ High scratch tree so the cat has a good lookout over your home = cat feels safe

♥ A small house / crawl in so that the cat has a hiding place where it can get peace and quiet

♥ One or more pillars that allow the cat to itch properly when needed

♥ Make sure that the scratch tree stands where the cat often is

So, no matter how big or small you live, it is unfortunately the case that the bigger the scratch  tree the better. If you live tightly, there are the variants that can be mounted directly on the wall - or you can choose a slightly smaller variant.
