The history of Bia Bed begins in the late 60s when the Asklöf family took over the Doberman Bia von Fürstenfeldt, who had been badly treated by previous owners. It's not hard to guess that it was Bia who gave the name for the bed that Bengt Asklöf constructed. The Bia Bed was a brand new soft model of dog basket that differed from the hard arrow baskets. The bed became the dog Bia's favorite, as it provided high comfort and support. After positive response from a veterinarian, the production of the Bia Beds begins.
