Rehabilitation and Ramps
In this category you will find tools and aids for dogs that are or have been sick or injured. Find rehabilitation accessories such as neck collars (cones), leg protection, ramps, cooling pads and dietary supplements. With a dog ramp, older dogs, injured dogs and dogs with hip or joint problems can get up in the car or up the stairs to the front door. Also find neck collars for animals in inflatable models that prevent dogs from licking on surgical wounds or injuries.
With a pet ramp, even small dogs, older dogs and dogs who for other reasons cannot jump up in the car can get help getting into the car. If your dog has an injury, is newly operated, is stiff in the joints, has hip problems, or is older and unwilling to jump, a dog ramp can be a good solution. Even puppies can use a ramp to get into the car. Petster has dog car ramps, dog ramps, such as Easy Step and Pet Step and we can deliver these in Sweden. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver these to other countries at present. Another way to help the dog up stairs or on walks is with a lifting harness. We have a dog sling (lift harness) that can also be used as a car harness and "regular" harness. This harness, or helper, can help support the dog when you walk or lift the dog. With a helping lift harness, the dog can rehabilitate injuries and strengthen the body after long convalescence. Your dog may have neurological problems, paralysis or difficulty walking for other reasons, and then the lift- and help harness can be used.
If your dog has been at the veterinarian and comes home with a "lampshade" around its neck, there are comfier alternatives to change the classic rigid plastic cone for. We have inflatable neck collars that work great for dogs of all sizes and also for cats. These neck collars come in several different sizes to suit small and large dogs. The inflatable collars are inflated manually, placed around the dog's neck and closed with various buckles or Velcro fasteners. Should your dog have a cone for a long time, to heal an injury or waiting for a surgical wound to heal, then it may be nice with a softer variant than the one often obtained at the clinic. An inflatable collar is perfect for rehabilitation, as the dog has a wound, or when your dog likes to chew and lick on bandages or compresses.
Other rehabilitation products you will find on this page are leg protection and hock protection from Back on Track, cooling pads from M-PETS and Quick Cooler, skin and coat spray that relieves itching, lift harness, dietary supplements for joints and nutritional paste.
