Cat Conditioner

When you shampoo the cat and want extra softening, detangling or glossy effect, a conditioner is perfect. Conditioner is available both as a classic conditioner used after shampooing, that sits for a few minutes and is then rinsed out - and as a spray conditioner. The spray conditioner, or conditioner spray, does not need to be rinsed out and is therefore a good quick fix when brushing the cat. Some conditioners have antistatic effect or help to loosen loose fur during deshedding.

A conditioner is excellent when you want to give the cat that little extra. Pamper the cat by bathing it with both shampoo and conditioner from time to time, so that the coat becomes incredibly soft and easy to sort out. Before the cat show if you are going to brush or trim the cat, a conditioner can help to give shine and make the coat easy to brush. The daily grooming is made easier if you use a good conditioner because the coat will be soft and very easy to sort out if it is tangled. After you have had a conditioner in the coat, you can dry the cat and carefully comb through to see if any tangles need to be sorted out. When all the tangles are gone, you can brush the cat with a brush through the entire coat. The coat will be glossy and smooth after.

Some conditioners should sit for a few minutes and therefore remain in the coat for a while before they are rinsed out. Then you can take the opportunity to massage the cat's skin during this time, or you put a warm, damp towel on the cat. In this way, the conditioner penetrates into the depth and works optimally. Make sure that you always rinse thoroughly with water at a comfortable temperature - this applies only to the products that are to be rinsed out. Some conditioner sprays are leave-in products that are sprayed on dry coat and does not need to be rinsed out with water. Perfect when you need to sort out tangles, brush the cat or give some extra shine. These conditioner sprays are a good quick fix when in a hurry or when the cat does not like water.
