Take care of the dog's paws in the winter

The minus degrees are here and hopefully the snow as well. It is therefore very important that you take care of the dog's paws during the winter and by keeping track of the start you can prevent cracks from occurring.

If you have a dog with a lot of fur between the pads, it may be good to trim the paws regularly. This is because it can get snow and ice between the paws and the drying time is prolonged if there is too much hair, which can cause the dog to get fungus during the softer periods. Paw ointment or shoes

Try to distract the dog with something just after the paws have been smeared, as the dog likes to lick away the ointment otherwise. You can also advantageously smear the paws just before the walk if there are minus degrees outside, it gives the paws a protective film against the cold snow.
