How does anti-bark collars work?

A bark collar, also called anti-bark collar or anti-barking collar, is used to teach the dog not to bark. The collar is available in several variants - with vibration, spray or high frequency sounds that only the dog can hear.


There are spray collars that each time your dog bark, spray out a small shower to distract the dog and cause the bark to cease. The spray is completely harmless to the dog. Then there are vibration collars that vibrate every time the dog barks. Then there is a third variant that is an ultrasound collar - this collar emits an ultrasound signal that only the dog hears when it emits a bark. The sound creates discomfort in the dog which causes it to stop barking.

Then there are also anti-bark stations available in different variants - for indoor and outdoor use. They also use an ultrasonic tone that causes discomfort in the dog and thus causes it to stop barking.



PLEASE NOTE! This should only be a temporary solution to train the dog to stop barking. Should only be used on dogs over 6 months.
