Feeding hay in haynet
Ideally, the horse should eat its hay from the ground, because this is the natural position the horse usually has when eating. But it could be that a horse is very messy in the box and thus spreads his hay throughout the box. This means that the horse does not get the right amount of hay as they do not want to eat the hay mixed with dirty litter.
An alternative solution to this could then be to give the horse its hay in a so-called haynet when it is in the box. These hay nets are available in several different models and variants. Below you find similar variants on haynets:
