Do I have to attend a puppy course?

Many dogowners bring home their new family member during the summer's long holidays - a period that often differs from how everyday life usually looks. Summer weeks often go fast and with a lot of outside time, the housetraining often goes well. But ... many often get a shock when they come back to town with their puppy after a few quiet weeks in the country. Suddenly, the puppy does not want to pee outside, it is afraid of all loud noises and does not want to walk on leash.


But no matter what season you bring your new family member home, it's a good idea to go on a puppy course!


Create a working everyday life
In order for you to have a functioning life with your dog, it is important that the so-called everyday obedience works. It can therefore be good to go on a puppy course with your dog - although you have had a dog before that you have taken a puppy course with. During the course you will receive tips and advice on how you can handle problems that may already have, or may arise later on. You will also have the opportunity to work on strengthening the relationship between you and your puppy, which you will benefit from in your everyday life. It is important to remember that each dog has different personalities with different needs and the puppy needs your help!

It gives you the opportunity to stay among other dogs in a new environment - while learning that it is the focus on you that pays off! Environmental training is an important part of the puppy's life to create a safe dog in different environments.



But to answer the question of whether you have to attend a puppy course - no you don't have to. But a puppy course is an investment in the future and a fantastic way to both socialize and train your puppy.
