It has the text "Dont Fear, Trust me" embroidered on the back of the ears so that you as a rider can read it as you ride.
The material around the ears has a dampening effect which gives your horse more peace and quiet in otherwise stressful situations. You simply attach the hood with Velcro to the boot.
