Nikwax Rug Proof - impregnation of horse blankets 1L

This impregnation from nikwax makes your quilt water-repellent. This product, unlike other products, has molecules that wrap around each fiber in the quilt to provide space for sweat and excess heat to get out. In this way, the blanket is continued to be given an opportunity to breathe.

This product is therefore perfect to use on duvets with breathable lining, such as Gore-Tex and Rambo. This is especially recommended for Rambo duvets as well.

Environmentally friendly and not tested on animals.

One package is enough for about 2-4 washes.

Use:
Before using this product, wash first with Nikiwax rug wash so that the cover is completely clean. This product can be used by machine washing, hand washing or washing with a sponge.

Machine wash:

• Remove old detergent residues from the detergent container
• Put the clean blanket in the washing machine.
• Use 500ml for one blanket, one blanket at a time.
• Then wash in 30 degrees cotton wool.

Hand wash: (Use plastic gloves for this method)

• Use 500ml for a blanket, 10 liters of lukewarm water and a tub
• Stir in the water to get the product everywhere, lay the blanket down and make sure the whole blanket is covered with water.
• Pour in another 15 liters of lukewarm water and stir
• Let lie for 2 hours and stir occasionally
• After two hours, rinse the blanket in cold water until the water is completely clear.

Washing with a sponge: (Use plastic gloves for this method)

• Lay the blanket on a clean surface and wet it with a water hose, making sure the whole blanket is wet.
• 500ml for a blanket with 1.5 liters of lukewarm water
• Use a sponge to spread the product over the entire quilt, being careful with seams.
• Excess is used on the back of the quilt.
• Wait for 5-10min before rinsing
• Then rinse in cold water until the water is clear.
