'Skin Care' is a ready-to-use dermatological anti-microbial emulsion.
PROPERTIES :
1- Protection : Its active ingredient, Chlorhexidine digluconate, has a powerful protective action against most germs and fungi, allowing perfect skin cleansing.
2 - Care : Lipophilic agents combined with moisturising agents protect the skin and ensure twice as much suppleness, softness and optimal hydration.
Mineral oil and glycerine combination forms a protective layer on the skin.
3 - Contains a fixing food colouring that ensures the product stay longer on the skin.
Skin Care has excellent skin-repairing properties. To be applied to summer dermatitis, wounds, chapping, cracks, scabs, mud scabbing, itching...Ideal product for broodmares during the nursing period to clean and heal cracked udders. Also use on small scabs that may appear following irritation caused by too frequent shearing.For the management of rain rot (rain scald), scratches (dew poisoning, greasy heel, mud. Chlorexidine Digluconate (CAS N°14472-51-0) Glycerine 10%,
Nonionic surfactants <10%, Dye <0.1% (fixing food colouring) Water (to 100%).
Apply Skin Care Spray liberally to affected area once or twice daily, or as often as needed, until healing takes place. Spray from a distance of 2 to 4 inches.
Do not rinse or wipe off; allow spray to dry naturally.
For mud fever on legs apply Skin Care generously on cotton bandages and wrap legs and leave it overnight. Repeat the action as longer as necessary until mud fever disappears. Follow label directions. Free from any prohibited substances as defined under FEI or Jockey Club rules. For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children. Protect from freezing.
Caution : In case of severe skin disorders, consult a veterinarian. If irritation develops or condition persists, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. Do not mix with iodine based products.
