No one wants to even the animals to suffer or feel generally bad. To reduce the risk of this is maintenance of the animal's dental & oral hygiene is extremely important!

It is never too late to start changing their habits
 

It is not difficult to prevent dental diseases in our animals. In order to prevent plaque and tooth loss are careful, regular cleaning of teeth and very important to brush your teeth in your dog or cat, you must learn it to accept this.

There are also a lot of good bones and toys to help clean teeth and stimulate gums. However, these do not replace tooth brushing and cleaning. But is a very good complement. (See rec. Accessories below)

Begin the introduction to the time it is a puppy or young by looking in your mouth, brush your teeth and controls. Keep your puppy or kitten and steady start by parting the lips. The same is true for older dogs, but may take a little longer to get the animal to accept. But daily exercise produces results.

Try to make things pleasurable with a lot of praise, encouragement and perhaps a little tidbit, just as you do in situations such as nail-clipping and grooming.

You must be firm and implement what you have in mind even if the animal has a different view. When the puppy or kitten that adults will find themselves in that you lift the lips and the gap opens, you should spend with praise.

Be content to begin with that brush a little token for that as the animal gets used, brushing more carefully.
