It is particularly important to keep the blade clean on this type of trimmer, and it is recommended that you clean your blade with, for example, a cooler and cleaning spray after each use. Turn the machine on and hold it with the blade down while gently spraying the moving parts with cleaning spray. Let the machine run for a few seconds before turning it off. Wipe off any excess cleaning fluid. Put a few drops of oil on the blade, start the machine for a few seconds and wipe off any excess oil with a soft, dry cloth. This will extend the life of both the blade and the trimmer.
