Catnip is an herb and it contains substances that attract cats, usually
from 6-9 months of age. For most cats the smell is irresistible.
The cat is stimulated and therefore wants to rub against the place where you sprayed.
The cat is spinning, rolling, chopping, licking and chewing on the product.
The reaction often lasts 5-20 minutes, then decreases and after an hour or two it's time again.
The spray is a great way to get your cat interested in, for example, his bed, his claw tree, transport cage and new toys.
